Profile of Sefer Ezra

Ha Sefer Ezra n Nechemyah were originally one volume. Sefer Ezra recounts the efforts of the golus who returned from Bavel to rebuild the temple.Under the leadership of Yeshua, ha Kohen gadol, and Zerubavel (זרבּב), the governor over the region, proper worship and the ceremonies associated with it were restored in Yerushalayim.

Theme:

Hashem through His Neviim, announcing His future plans 100 yrs in advance.
Predicting the reigns of Melekhim and Malkot even before they exist
Predeclaring a precise appointed time for event to take place.
Hashem stirs the hearts of all kinds of people (Yehudim or Goyim alike) in order to accomplish His plans.
