Just note today Torah portion of chapter 8 of Shemot (Exodus) : if you are using the normal English bible the chapter 8 :1 is the continuation of Chapter 7;26 - Chapter 7 has 29 verse. it is very different - Chapter 8:1 begins as verse five of the normal English use by gentiles.
